Welcome to the B&ES Specialist Groups

Our four Specialist Groups play a unique part in the life of the association by focusing on key technical areas of strategic importance to members.

All four come together once a year to consider areas of common (and separate) business interest while also holding their annual general meetings.

This year's meeting took place at Trinity House in London on Thursday, May 3 and  featured special guest speaker Justin Webb from Radio 4's Today programme. B&ES president Bob Shelley also addressed the groups and highlighted the fact that membership of the association remains buoyant.

He also paid tribute to the specialist activities that the groups carry out on behalf of members.
