Bob Towse is head of technical and safety at the HVCA.

Formerly with British Gas and CORGI, Bob is a well known industry expert and acknowledged authority on all things technical and safety.

Following almost three decades in the gas industry, much of which was spent with the watchdog organisation CORGI, Bob was appointed head of the B&ES’s Technical and Safety Department in 2001.

He has worked on revitalisation of health and safety in construction, the certification of h&v operatives and the development of standards in support of the association’s own independent member inspection and assessment regime.

Russell Mott is Technical & Safety Officer. He joined B&ES in 2009 after 15 years working in the industry and most recently running his own business. 

Russell has a varied engineering and building services background with specific expertise in working at height and high security contracts.  Russell’s key responsibilities are running the Regional Health, Safety and Environment Contractors Groups and providing day to day support on technical, health, safety and environment issues.
