Competent? Health & Safety advice available to members
B&ES has produced a list of recommended consultants to assist members with their Health & Safety and compliance with the new B&ES Competence Assessment Scheme. Through the Safety Focus Forums OSHCR (Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register)
Consultants have already been involved in assisting members with core criteria compliance. The Association’s Health & Safety Department has extended the list by inviting Consultants into the Safety Focus Forums that have experience in the Building Services sector. Compliance support seminars have also taken place focussing on the resources available in order to ensure some continuity with the Consultants and how they use those resources to assist with compliance. Such resources include the suite of E-Learning courses now available to members via Human Focus. B&ES: E-learning
It has become clear that compliance with our scheme depends on access to competent advice and to suitable and sufficient training. This can be resolved reasonably easy using a Consultant and engaging with the E-Learning training facility.
Recently at the Safety Focus Forums members were invited to join the group and discuss health and safety matters with our recommended Consultants.
Members of the London & South East Safety Focus Forum get assistance from Consultants at a recent meeting held in London Stratford.
