Sarah Wicks - Head of Education and Training

Sarah began her career as an apprentice electrical engineer with Matthew Hall (now SPIE Matthew Hall) moving on to training manager at MITIE Group PLC and Diageo (better known as Guinness Breweries). She joined the B&ES in June 2005 as Education & Training Officer, progressing to Head of Department in August 2007.

Sarah's role is to provide B&ES members with leadership, expert advice and guidance on all aspects of technical and vocational education and training. She also represents the interests of members on a variety of sector bodies.

Roger Brown - Education and Training Officer

Roger is in charge of skills and workforce development linked to the B&ES specialist groups: Ductwork, Heating and Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Service and Facilities. He is also the secretary of the B&ES Education Committee.

Rachel Forey - Education and Training Officer

Rachel joined the B&ES in 2009 having worked predominately in learning and development advisory roles with Government and private organisations. Rachel heads up all matters relating to careers guidance, member advisory services including webinar development and more recently has taken the lead in developing services for the devolved administrations.

Sandra Pearse - Education and Training Administrator

Sandra joined the B&ES in 2001 having previously worked as an Administrative Assistant to the General Secretary for the British Medical Ultrasound Society. 

Sandra is the key contact for all matters relating to the B&ES suite of Training Courses, managing the logistics  and administration behind delivering courses across the United Kingdom. She is also the key contact for member queries within the Department.
