Meet the commercial and legal team

The legal and commercial department is staffed by four full-time lawyers expert in all aspects of construction and building services law including contracts, disputes and adjudication.

Head of department is Roderick Pettigrew, who is also deputy chief executive of the association.

He has been head of the department since 1993, and was appointed deputy chief executive in December 2008. Educated at the University of Westminster and the Inns of Court Law School, he is the author of Payment under Construction Contracts Legislation.
