Welcome to the B&ES website
This site was updated earlier this year and now contains a very large volume of information covering everything from how the association works to the latest in sustainable technology to updated industry standards and legislation.
There is lots to look at, but the sheer amount of material means it is also very easy to get lost. Here are a few tips:
1. Use the Google search facility. This can be accessed via the box in the top right hand corner of every page and is continually updating with key words from the website. Let Google find it for you!
2. Search via our menu system. The website has been structured by subject heading and by department - the menu system is arranged so you can arrive at the same place via two (or sometimes more) routes.
For example, if you are interested in training on biomass boilers you can get there through the training department under 'Education and Training' or via the 'Sustainability' area because biomass is classified as a sustainable technology.
3. Contact a relevant member of staff. We have organised the staff listings by department and by region and also in an A-Z format too. 'Contact us' is a great place to start. Staff email addresses and telephone numbers are all clearly displayed and they should be able to help if the topic of interest comes under their area of specialism.
4. Contact me - the site editor. It is really important that I hear about any problems you are having locating things so send me an email and I will try to make things clearer for you and other visitors in the future.
